Pool Party Turned Mud Party!

Our POOL PARTY POTLUCK PLAYDATE was a big success! Lots of yummy snacks from the mommies and lots of fun with the kids. Of course I had attempted to prevent "mudfest
from happening but of course it is what ended up happening and they had more fun in the mud than the pool. Oh well time to loosen up a bit and let kids be kids!!!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame.................
Take me out to the crowd..............David & Sawyer enjoyed a Rockies game on Sunday. The Colorado Rockies vs. the New York Mets, David's two favorite teams. A little father son time which I hope turns into a summer time tradition for them, going to the ballpark, enjoying a hot dog, and time together. Of course Maggie and I had some girl time while they were gone, lunch, Barnes & Noble, and window shopping--
oh and of course a Starbucks!! We also went to Golden Ponds in Longmont for a little hike and church on Sunday morning. We managed to do all this this weekend amidst my crazy new "part-time" job and I use that term loosely.............I managed to put in 17 hours this weekend alone!! Enjoy the pics...................

David Catches A Grounder With His Face!
David played in a Softball Tournament last Saturday with his work while we were in Kansas. I received a phone call with David that started like this, "Well I didn't lose any teeth." But he did have to literally pull his lips out of his teeth he got smacked so hard, he also told me that he probably needed a few stitches but do you think he went to the dr? NO! When we got home from Kansas I could not stop saying, "I can't believe how bad that looks!" His lips were HUGE, they were so swollen, and of course it was our 8 Year Anniversary so no hanky panky here, ha ha.
David was also concerned about the state of his lips because he volunteered to coach Sawyer's T-Ball team and he didn't want the kids to know that he had taken a grounder to the face for fear they would never catch a ball in their lives after seeing what it could do to your face!!! But anyhow here are some pics of the LIPS and of David's coaching debut which by the way he did an awesome job with the kids.
Can you say PUDDIN POP with lips the size of Angeli Jolie's????
