Granny & Maggie

MY TWO FAVORITE LADIES all dolled up at Heather's Wedding

Whiskey & Mango Out on the Town

And in bed by 10:30 P.M. HA HA! Amanda's husband planned a Girl's Night Out for her and I got to tag along. We stayed downtown Denver on the 16th Street Mall @ the Marriott had lunch at The Market on Larimer Square, Shopped the 16th St. Mall, & had supper @ Pulcinella Ristorante on 18th & Lawrence. ALL WITHOUT CHILDREN! What a nice break. The best part of the weekend though was hanging out with Mango who I have been "BFF" for 24 years. Isn't that nuts? She knows more about me than my own husband!!!

Sawyer's Field Trip to The Butterfly Pavillon

My little Honey Bee playing in the honeycomb at the Butterfly Pavillon. Sawyer got to ride the school bus with his classmates while Mom & Maggie followed in the ol minivan. The 3 of us lagged behind the group the whole field trip, not purposely but I guess we are just a bunch of lollygaggers.

This is some of Sawyer's Photography of a giant Ant.

Sawyer & his buddies lining up to get back on the bus, I really don't think they could stand any closer together!!!

WE SURVIVED!

The adventure began bright and early Friday April 5 @ 8:30 a.m. as we loaded up in the minivan and headed out for the first leg of our journey to California. We made it a half an hour before we stopped for breakfast!! After filling our guts we got back in the car and headed out, I think we made it about another hour before Sawyer had to pee. We had a late lunch in Las Vegas, NM and finally made it to Albuquerque about 6:00 p.m. Good grief an almost 10 hour drive just to get on the train?!?! Anyhow........we checked out Old Town and Sawyer met some pretty girls from Bethel College in Kansas of all places who he asked to dance in the gazebo, of course they caught his attention because of their LONG hair. The lucky lady was Rachel and her friends Kayla & Sierra watched.
