Hanging with Esther!

Esther has become such a part of my life! It has been such a blessing knowing her this past year and I am so grateful that David finally got to meet her. Our small group from church volunteered at the nursing home she is in and made Christmas ornaments with them and indulged in some Christmas cookies. Sawyer, Maggie, & I go to the nursing home to visit at least every other week and I cannot believe how well they do with the residents. Boo has even started going with me to work there and as you can see makes herself at home.

We were blessed with a trip to Rochester, NY where David's sister and family live. It was prime time for Fall foliage and the weather was perfect. Dar was quite the hostess and filled our days with fun, good food, LOUD music (ha ha!), teaching Maggie how to get her groove on, and just blessing us with Dar being Dar!!!!

We also got to spend time with David's Parents which was great.
Sawyer loved hanging out with his cousins Davey & Joey, he probably drived them nuts but they took very good care of him and Maggie!!!

We went camping this weekend in Canon City at Yogi Bear Jellystone Campground and this was the highlight of the kid's trip!! Not sure what it is about a kitchen sink.............may be their Granny introducing them to it at a very young age!!!!

While I was at work yesterday and my children were in "daddy daycare" a few events transpired throughout the day. First David was being the good husband and cleaning all the bathrooms and Sawyer had asked him if he could play in the kitchen sink with his bath toys. So David filled the sink up for him and left him to splish splash a bit while he finished scrubbing toilets. Well when he returned to the kitchen to check on Sawyer this is what he found..........................

guess Sawyer meant LITERALLY - could he play in the sink!!!

Then sweet innocent little MagPie got up for her nap and Daddy went to get her. Upon entering the room he was blown away by a pungent smell so he assumed she had just filled her drawers. But upon turning on the light she had poop from one end to the other of her bed!!! David thinks she must have done this early on in the nap because it took 2 baths to get her clean. You are all lucky because David did not photograph this incident!!!!
